Accessibility statement
An NDIS provider's website has one job above all others: being usable by people with disability. Here is what we've done, and how to tell us when we've missed something.
Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across this website. Accessibility is treated as a requirement, not an enhancement.
What this site does
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
- Text and background colours are contrast-checked against WCAG AA across the palette.
- Forms have labels, announced validation messages and clear error text; the Find Support enquiry is broken into one question per step.
- Animations and moving content are disabled automatically when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Touch targets meet the minimum size guidance, and the layout works at 200% zoom and on small phones without sideways scrolling.
- Headings are hierarchical, images carry alternative text, and decorative imagery is hidden from screen readers.
Known limitations
- Some older blog posts syndicated from external sources may have imperfect heading structure or image descriptions. We fix these as they are found.
- We do not yet provide Easy Read versions of our pages. If an Easy Read version would help you, contact us and we will work through the content with you directly.
If something doesn’t work for you
Tell us. Accessibility feedback goes to the top of the fix list, and you can use whichever channel works best:
- Phone 03 8752 2335
- Email info@famycare.com.au
- The feedback and complaints process
You can also ask us to provide any information on this site in another format — over the phone, in writing, or through an interpreter.
